FAQs
What services are available for the hospitality sector at TGV Interiores?
We offer a comprehensive FF&E service dedicated to hospitality, which includes: – Production of technical and decorative carpentry, – Supply of furniture, upholstery, curtains, lighting, coverings, and accessories, – Curation of international brands, – Project management, – Delivery and installation.
What does FF&E dedicated to hospitality mean?
FF&E stands for Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment — that is, furniture, non-structural fixed elements, and functional equipment. In the hospitality context, this includes beds, sofas, wardrobes, tables, chairs, lamps, curtains, carpets, mirrors, minibars, safes, among other essential items for hotel operation and ambiance. These elements are designed to ensure durability, functionality, and aesthetic coherence, aligning with the positioning and concept of the hotel unit.
What FF&E products can you supply for hospitality?
We supply a complete range of items: – Beds, headboards, side tables, desks, wardrobes, seating, upholstery, – Bespoke technical furniture (minibars, closets, worktops), – Decorative and technical lighting, – Mirrors, wall coverings, curtains, and decorative pieces. All elements can be customised according to the project.
Do you develop complete creative projects or only supply FF&E?
Both options are possible. We can work solely as suppliers and producers of FF&E based on an existing project or develop a full creative FF&E proposal aligned with the concept of the hotel unit.
Is it possible to customise pieces?
Yes. Our production allows a high degree of customisation — whether in terms of dimensions, finishes, or materials. We work both with designs provided by architects and with pieces developed internally for the project.
Do you have the capacity to handle large-scale projects?
Yes. Our industrial structure, technical team, and logistical capacity enable us to execute large-scale projects while maintaining consistency, quality control, and meeting deadlines, regardless of scale.
What types of clients do you serve in the hospitality sector?
We work with boutique hotel chains, independent hotels, expanding groups, property developers, and construction companies, operating on turnkey projects or as specialised suppliers within larger contracts.
Can TGV Interiores adapt materials or pieces to optimise costs?
Yes. One of TGV Interiores’ core principles is full compliance with the client’s specification sheet and technical requirements. Whenever specified materials or pieces exceed budget limits, we propose technically and aesthetically equivalent alternatives, focusing on cost optimisation, production feasibility, and maintaining the visual coherence of the project. This approach allows us to balance design and commercial rationality, ensuring competitive solutions without compromising quality, the hotel’s identity, or the operational objectives defined by the client.
How can I request a fee proposal or a quotation for FF&E supply?
Before presenting any proposal, it is essential to understand the project framework and objectives. For a fee proposal for creative project development, we conduct diagnostic meetings to learn about the hotel’s structure, brand positioning, group intentions, and desired level of customisation. This phase allows us to define the scope of creative and technical work realistically. For FF&E supply quotation requests, it is crucial to send detailed documentation, such as: – Plans and bills of quantities, – Technical datasheets of the pieces, – Technical drawings, – And, when applicable, reference images or interior design projects. These elements ensure accurate budgeting, enabling us to present a proposal compatible with the project’s requirements and specifications.
What is the average turnaround time for sending a quotation?
It depends on the project’s complexity. Simple proposals can be sent within 10 to 15 working days. For projects involving technical development and multiple typologies, the timeframe can extend up to 6 weeks.
How do I proceed to schedule a meeting?
You can contact us by email, phone, or through the form on our website. Our team will arrange a face-to-face or online meeting, depending on the location and project stage.
Is it possible to supply in phases according to the project stages?
Yes. For larger projects or those with staggered schedules, we organise phased supply and installation by typologies or blocks, ensuring flexibility and coordination with the construction.
Do you offer delivery and installation services?
Yes. TGV Interiores ensures full delivery and installation of FF&E, with in-house teams or specialised partners, under the direct supervision of our project management team.
What delivery options are available?
We adapt logistics to the project: – Direct delivery to the construction site, – Intermediate storage in external warehouses, – Coordinated delivery by zones or typologies, – Full on-site assembly with a dedicated team.
What are the average delivery lead times?
After final approval and contract award, FF&E supply can take between 10 and 16 weeks, depending on complexity and material origin. A detailed schedule is presented at the start of the project.
Do you operate only in Portugal or internationally as well?
We operate in Portugal and internationally, with projects completed in several countries across Europe, Africa, and Central America. Our logistics are prepared to support works in different geographies with the same rigour.
What payment methods are available?
We accept bank transfer, credit card, or payment through Multibanco reference, depending on the project type. Terms are always agreed upon at the contract award phase and adapted to the supply schedule.
What is your return or cancellation policy?
As pieces are produced or ordered to measure, returns are not possible after production begins. Cancellations are only possible before technical contract award and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
